Let's ignore for a moment that we have recorded audio evidence that they did in fact deliberately start the fire. Let's entertain an entirely hypothetical scenario where that info is left in the dark.

Police fire teargas into the building and it "unintentionally" causes a fire. What exactly does that mean? The reason they say that is because torching a building is against the fucking law in any scenario. It's arson and the police aren't exempt of that law. Even if they had confirmed Dorner's presence in there, you can't just burn a suspect alive, because he has to be taken through court and even if he is found guilty you can't fucking torch him anyways, and finally there could have been fucking hostages or just about anyone in there. They had no idea but that didn't stop them from turning a cabin into rubble because they were shitting bricks.

So we know why they lied, but what does their lie do for them exactly. They fired tear gas into a building and that accidentally caused the fire? That's still misconduct on a gross level especially considering it's common knowledge for any officer that's undergone training that that shit causes fires in a wooden fucking cabin. Let's not forget they were demolishing the place beforehand anyways and firing on it duhh.

Not like any of that shit matters. They open fire on civilian vehicles without warning and are already guilty of gross misconduct of the likes I've never seen in fucking history on such a scale and internal affairs seem to be paid to do absolutely fucking nothing at this point. Fuck that gay ass state and fuck anyone who defends these people. People will say "duhh well the killing isn't justified we should talk it out", fuck you. If I even have to explain to you why that didn't and will continue to not work then you lack a functioning brain and it's clear with the lack of internal investigation and seemingly global attempt and corruption and misconduct that we need nothing short of law enforcement genocide to fix this clusterfuck we call a justice system.

If you are referring to this specific incident, then they were within their rights, as granted by the law, to use deadly force in response to a suspect attempting to kill them.

I would further argue that, even outside the law, on a strictly moral level, if someone is trying to shoot you, you are authorized to respond with deadly force

I'm having trouble understanding you, maybe because I just blazed for the first time today, so bear with me.

I do not think they would have arrested him if he had not started killing people.

He had already given his story to them and they, if what he says is true, fucked him over pretty badly and covered their own asses.

He was left desperate and fucked with what he felt was no hope.

There was no need to arrest him.

Now, what if had written an open letter to the media? Or even better, hired a competent media whore lawyer to file a lawsuit and then compose a more cogent statement and letter to the media...

Shit, he might have actually might have made a difference.

The last moments of Christopher Dorner, a former police officer in Los Angeles, gripped the nation for a few seemingly long, but oddly compelling days. Dorner was wanted for four murders in California, including two police officers, and had been on the run from police since Feb. 3. The manhunt ended on Tuesday with the log cabin where Dorner was allegedly holed up being set on fire, and the fugitive not emerging.
Since then, Dorner has become sort of a hero for people on the Internet, who have been calling him a "victim" of the police. This apparently includes 4chan, known for creating quick games in response to current events, and who have immortalized the man in a Doom-inspired shooter called Chris Dorner's Last Stand.
The game is available for free download on Windows, and just so you don't have to waste some good time playing it, here's the rundown.
You play as Chris Dorner, who is in a log cabin surrounded by police officers who are trying to shoot at you. Your goal is to kill them, collecting ammo they drop and the occasional KFC chicken bucket, which restores your health (never said this game was classy). The game has multiple difficulties, and in each, the action progresses as more officers enter the cabin and try to shoot you and for some reason the place sets on fire.
If you make it to the end, the final boss is a Terminator. If you defeat the Governator a screen comes up that says "You can't corner the Dorner."
If I have to gave some credit, it would be that the game actually presents a challenge, even on lower difficulties. It's fairly fast-paced, and you need to utilize certain strategies in order to defeat the NPC's and especially the final boss.
The game only has some value, however, if you agree that Dorner was a victim in this whole situation. Dorner is the hero, and you are playing as him. The subtext underlying Last Stand paints the police as monsters in the same way that the aliens in Doom were your antagonists. You are an action hero who is able to take down entire forces, and even defeat the Terminator (for some reason). Even worse is that the police are extremely racist, and are dropping you KFC chicken.
Without the subtext, the game is pretty stupid and brainless, as well as racist. If you disagree with the Internet consensus, then the game can be downright insulting. The music is obnoxious and annoying, including a song by Gangsta Rap that contains some... interesting lyrics.
Whatever your opinion, users on 4chan made it, and Reddit made it popular. It happens. Nothing you can do about it.
