![]() ![]() These two along with Cypress Hill III Make up my top three hip-hop albums. The former two are way too underrated.

i'd agree that reasonable doubt is jay-zs best, thats one of the most intelligently written albums of all time imo. the blueprint is a close second though. it was just one of those moments in hip hop where everything came together, just beautiful shimmering soul productions and a masterclass in arrogance. if you don't like jay-z then fair enough but most jay-z fans would agree thats one of his best.

I'm not sure i agree with the DJ Muggs vs Sick Jacken album being underrated. There's some average and filler tracks, boring interludes, and spanish tracks that not everyone will care to hear on the regular. I pretty much only listen to 'God's Banker', 'Mask and the Assassin' and '2012' from this album. Last edited by madchild; 03-12-2013 at 06:25 PM. |

In terms of Jay-Z, I think "American Gangster" is one of his best, and it is often underrated.

Definitely, i think it combines the classic soul beats of blueprint with the lyrical themes of reasonable doubt.

I think American Gangster is probably better than the Black Album.
