Both Bronze's albums and if you take out the last 2 or 3 tracks off of Lil B's album, it would be super close. His rhyming is not the best but his beats on I'm Gay are not to be fucked with. Let's see Nas or Rae rap on half them beats on his album, that would be some good shit IMO.

Post 2000 or so, no, not really.

I also just don't call albums classics just because I really like them, or because they're the best of a forgettable bunch.

I might throw in Cancer 4 Cure as a classic too. If not classic, it's close. Damn unique album, that one.

The question marked ones need more time? I think the Game was an interesting pick, is that choice based mostly off the stellar production because I didn't think his rapping was special. In terms of Nas, I'd sooner take God's Son than Stillmatic due to several weaker tracks on Still. Also, what makes you choose Black Album over Blueprint? IMO, Blueprint was stronger as an album, more unique, better rapping, and had more of an impact on the game.

Yeah, I wouldn't call them classics quite yet...real good albums though. That would go for the Documentary, Industry Shakedown and Vaudeville Villain too. Blueprint is up there too, forgot it came out in '01. I still find myself playing RD more than both those albums though. And for me, I like God's Son too , but some songs keep me from liking it to it's full potential. I'm just going off my itunes, if i replayed alot of these, I may have a second opinion.

Distant Relatives, Below The Heavens, A Piece of Strange, Madvillainy, The Cold Vein, Supreme Clientele, Shadows On The Sun, Masters of the Universe are definite classics imo though.

^True that bro. Does that mean that Cold Vein is your favorite Def Jux release? (over artists like Aesop Rock, El-P, Cage, etc)
