The Spinning Wheel break was used a lot as well, such as 7th Chamber ( both parts I believe).

I listened to the drums and most of em are just old break beats replayed and chopped in some different way

I think it's the other way around. Pretty basic beats with very interesting sounds.

RZA's snare sounds game is the best in the business.

RZAs drum patterns are usually basic but they are madly complex in how he layers his drum sounds. DL his drum app and you'll see what im talking about - he'll put like 3 barely audible sounds over a kick or snare so that you wouldnt be able to make out that specific sound over the snare, but it'll still make a big difference somehow. ill catch different sounds in a beat 10yrs later that i never noticed - his drums are next level in that aspect
