Not every game but a lot of them.
The Rev will be able to play NES, SNES, N64, and GCN games. The first three will have to be downloaded from Nintendo web service (which will be free) although the games will come at a cost. But believe me, it'll be worth it to play Earthbound then switch right into a game of Donkey Kong 64 and Resident Evil 4 without having to switch systems.

as the name implies....

the revolution wont be that expensive, cheaper than the xbox 360 and ps3, becuz they dont put so much concentration in cpu and graphics power like sony or microsoft,so ps3 and xbox 360 got much more power, they put concentration in innovation, the controller for example or the typical nintendo games ( Zelda, Mario, Metroid), thats the info i got so far

Here are the games that are known of (metroid prime 3 will definently be the launch title, how sick is that gunna be with a gun controller)
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/692/692479p1.html Also Rev is gunna be a little more powerful than an XBOX. About 2 times as powerful as a gamecube. |

Nintendo's lineup of games have always been pretty esoteric. They know how to cash in on valuable assets like Mario, Link Pokémon etc and they do good with that. I'll give them props for always giving their fans exatly what they want (or pretty much near to) but they release too many offshoot items, like their elaborate GameBoy line, for example. I quite liked their concept Advance SP line (i really wanted one of the Mana one) and the Revolution being cheaper than its other competitiors sounds chilled too. I picked up a GameCube for like Ł30 last year, N64s go for more than that haha
