In the Holy Quraan it says that the lowest heaven is adorned with stars, so it is our sky that is this lowest heaven, and Allah put stars there to guard against "every rebellious evil spirit", from coming through to this realm.

Now what you deem as a spirit can be an alien/jinn/devil they can fall under that category...

While im not a qualified interpreter of Quraan, this film seems interesting when you think about this verse, and "extraterrestrials" invading......one who has belief knows that Allah/GOD is in control of everything he has created.....

7. A guard against every rebellious evil spirit;
8. They cannot listen to the angels in heaven, and they are pelted from every side;

Read that over an over and see how deep it is...

apparently this "piercing flame" is a comet or shooting stars, so the angels throw shooting stars at these "evil spirits"....

a bit off the topic of film, but when i watch films, i know the director does the Ledge on sum issues, i thot this relates to it quite well, build on.....

ok. so fucking germs and life kills aliens? they diddnt see this when they 'planted' the ships? how the fuck does his son survive when the tanks and militiary get blown to shit? y is the area in boston fine when everywhere else is fucked up badly? how did he pull the grenade pins out and why diddnt the people help the others before him in that basket thing?

as a movie, it wasnt impressive, but as an action movie shit was ill. very nice effects. i thought it ended real weak.

WOW!!!! What a dissapointment!!!!!

the movie was dumb ass hell, didnt explain alot.

and the Ending was very retarted.

The Digital Graphics in this movie was amazing.

but the whole movie desever a 3 = Aight Movie, relly wished it was good but it was aight.

I didn't see it yet, but I don't think effects make a movie. I'd rather have a good plot, and so-so effects, than a so-so plot and good effects.

It was pretty good, but definitely not a great film. Special effects were amazing like everyone else has been saying. I think I may be dissapointed because I read the story years ago, and just had very high expectations.
