Lately I've been hooked on some good R&B. D'Angelo and Erykah Badu mainly, they both dropped two classic albums. Ya'll sleep on them too much (hit up the album review bitches!)

dylan, stones, doors.... old rock like that Johnny Cash's last album David Bowie, placebo, smashing pumpkins... Madrugada, a norwegian band, y'all should check it... SOAD and some stuff like that And a bit of indie-rock, sufjan stevens is classic... i'm feelin erykah badu too... yeah and i'll probably think of a lot more... and PINK FLOYD...

lookin at the pile of cds next to my stereo that ive gone through over the last week or so i see buds that are green, red roses too....
nah just playin, aswell as plenty of wu, i see; Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, some bangin Uprising tapes (hardcore), Al Green, Dionne Warwick ( wow just got this) and al that old soul shit is my thing at the moment, Arctic Monkeys, of course that real smooth rnb stuff from Mary J Blige ( listening to her first album a lot lately) and Badu, Lil Louis on a funky tip, and all the stuff i play regularly coz i'm a dj, hardcore, hard trance and for sunday comedown sessions chilled out funky house. Ive also just bought a massive dnb vinyl collection so it might be junglist for the next few weeks in my bedroom. I love moosic man, where would we be without it??! |
