Do I like it? All I can say is it's my third favourite genre of music behind Hip Hop and 90's Brit Pop. I like listening to it to help me relax, or if I'm already relaxed just to help me zone out, or sometimes to go to sleep, put it on really quietly and it soothes...the soul funnily enough.

Most of the people mentioned I like, especially D'Angelo and Erykah, Voodoo, Mama's Gun, Baduizm, Brown Sugar & Worldwide Underground for me are quintessential Neo-Soul albums.

Apart from the artists already talked about, Angie Stone, John Legend and Joss Stone deserve to be name dropped.

I was a bit cautious about mentioning her name, one because she's white and two because...as far as I know she isn't 'down' with any rappers and certainly not with any of the Wu, and I guess that would automatically lose her a lot of cool points.

Glad you've co-signed what I said now, put my mind at rest lol. I love "Super Duper Love", "Fell In Love With A Boy", "Less Is More", "Security", "Jet Lag" in particular. I think as she gets older her voice will mature, and might even improve, she certainly has a long career ahead of her.
