i disagree there, he's already cemented his place in the boxing HOF for his career so far. however, if he does fight and beat pacquiao (which i know he will) he's gonna be put right up there with boxing gods such as ali, sugar ray robinson, roberto duran etc. etc.

I personally dont think it will be close. Their styles are too different. I think one of them will be a clear winner, not sure which one though.

Floyd's just a much smarter guy than other boxers. Granted, pride in wanting to fight the best all the time is gonna get you a lot of respect, but there's too many boxers out there who've ruined themselves for being way too brave for their own good. Muhammad Ali is probably the most known example of this.

I'd rather boxers retire early with a lot of money and still be able to enjoy it.
