Well I do that work yeah but I haven't done it for these signatures. once you get the hand of the technique it's pretty easy and lots of fun.

What you need to do to create an image like this is basicly this:

Open up an image you wanna make vector, create a new layer and start by,for instance if you wanna work on a face,start with the face.Take your pen tool (dunno wich one you prefer) and outline the entire face,just go around and make sure the shape is almost identical so no cracks etc...then make a selection out of that and fill it with a more cartoon-ish skin color.After that create another layer and repeat the same step but every time with another part of the head, like shadow in a face,eyes,eyebrows,nose,hair etc....It takes lots of time but the result will be smashing. After you finished everything it's only a mather of gettin' the layers in the right order. What I normally do to not get confused is every time I finished a layer i clicked the layer away,make it invisible and then work on a new layer.

You will have to learn to use the pen tool tho, at first it was chinese for me aswell, but find some good pen tool tutorials and you'll see that it realy isn't that hard realy.

I'll be posting some own creations later when I finish of some.

yeah, but it takes alot of work tho, I started this afternoon on another one with Meiko Kaji's face (ofcourse) and right about now I have about 50 layers already,worked on it for like 5 hours and still is far from finished.
