KNOWLEDGE this WISDOM. That's the first lines he spit. Obviously the ones who dont like it didnt listen to that part. He means pay close attention to what I'm about to tell ya'll. Niggaz can learn so much from that shit right there. "The white image of Christ is really Cesar Borgia...", "Why should u die to go to heaven, the Earth is already in space...", ect, ect.

The Birth Of A Prince

this was a HISTORIC track cuz it was the 1st time an artist (GzA) gave shine to another artist (KP) by giving him an entire track on his album (without being featured on it himself).......some say payback for NOT becoming the 9th member when he fell asleep in the studio & Masta Killa put his rhyme on wax for the 36 chambers album......the rest is HISTORY

Thread starter needs to kill himself. Its top 3 on that album, a massive classic. Killah Priest is amazing on it, the rhyme schemes he uses, while dropping all the knowledge at the same time is unbelievable. I think you are just a faggot because it doesn't have GZA on it, so you hate it. How about you listen to it, actually FEEL the song, not just hear it.
and how the fuck do you skip the last song on an album? |

that's my personal fave song on the album too.
i think it's an ill closing track, 'cause it sorta shows an evolution in the album... or in wu terms 'an ending to a movie'. the lyrics and the beat are no longer so negative, dark and hateful and the main character seems to have grown up to find truth, etc (use your imagination). i thought it was gza at first also, but damn, Killah Priest owns it w/ the lyrics and that beat is soooo ill! Lyrically, i think what he's spittin' is so ahead of it's time. a good prologue to benieth the surface too! |

equivalent of sticking 3 Bricks on Fishscale. whether ya love it or hate it, it just doesn't fit with the album. RZA made a masterpiece with LS by arranging and sequencing all the tracks and skits. listens to the intro. listen to the outro on the RZA track. it speaks for itself. the album known as Liquid Swords to me ends without the last track. fuck, even a 20 second delay would've been proper just to seperate it from the rest of the album like a "bonus" or something. not hating on the song but is not Liquid Swords material. -Peace
