Get the Blackstar cd before his 2 solo's. Blackstar is a classic... so is Black on Both Sides, but Blackstar with Talib is pratically flawless.
1. Blackstar (9.9/10) 2. Black on Both Sides (9/10) 3. The New Danger (7/10) -or- (4.5/10*) These are my opinions, most peeps would give New Danger below a 5. *If your looking for strictly hip-hop, New Danger is not for you. As a "Hip-Hop" album, I would also give New Danger about a 4.5/10. But its not a hip-hop album in full. Its about 50% rock, 30% singing, 30% rap. But if you like all those elements, it will be a little above average as an album as 7/10.

Pretty much what everybody else said. Although I liked Black On Both sides a bit more than Blackstar. Blasphemy, I know.
And New Danger is actually very good. There are about 3-4 tracks that are worhtless, but the rest is superb. Especially The Begger, Panties, Modern Marvel...some of his best work. |

Black on both sides. The New Danger wasn't all that its pretty much the most disappointing sophmore showing i've ever been given by a rapper lol. 1st CD classic 2nd CD skippable.

Everyone should check out "Modern Marvel" from the new danger. There are not many rappers that can write a 9 minute hip hop track and have it be interesting from start to finish.
