its hard to compare them because they have slightly diff styles, rakim was consistent but he never really had ne thing that made u go crazy wen u herd it like some of mef's shit. wen a hot rakim song came out it was like u just sit there and listen "this is a pretty hot song" or sumthin like that, but with mef whos not as consistent, u got alot of songs that when u hear the first 2 seconds of it, then u just flip, but then theres some that are just ok

hmm....tough choice...rakim is always said to be a pioneering MC and he is ill, but thats only because he consistently produced good shit over and over again. Meth on the other hand is only in a lower categorie due to the fact that he is less consistent with his style and sometimes comes out with shit like tical:0. I would say meth is better at his best

i dont have to be 25 fuckin yrs old to hear every rakim song, i grew up around people that envied him and played his shit constantly, i love rakim(no homo) all im sayin is that meth got a style thats more unique then him and gets u pumped, and im not dick ridin cuz its not like i got pics of the mutherfucker on my wall or im defendin him, im just givin respect were its due
