I noticed some west coast talk here and there so I figured I bring this up. I remember goin and pickin up this tape when I was about twelve so it musta been released around 92. That was a good year. A few other classics were dropped around that time period.

I remember hearing that intro on the first time I listened to it and was like wtf. I knew where it was from but I couldnt even understand what it had to do with the album as a whole. Growing older and going through the system led me to know what was up with that shit later. Anyway, this album has stayed in rotation since then. I put a few tracks on my iPod every know and then like- When will they shoot , Wicked, Now I gotta wet'cha , Dirty Mack.

The production is pretty damn good. It stands the test of time and Cube stays consistantly in the pocket. Besides the Gangsta Fairytale pt. 2 , I would say this album is a 4.5/ 5

What up, anybody remember listenin to this shit or does anybody still listen to it?

Cant belive aint nobody got shit to say about this album. I bet I know why too. Cube said alot of shit on this album that broke down the real on many levels and it does offend a certain audience. Thus , no replies up in this thread.

If anything somebody could say something about " it was a good day". Fuck, That was a classic hip hop track. Vital to the game. Ya'll some haters if you cant comment on this album.

Fuck what Cube doin now with music. I'm talkin about tha G that birthed many G's.

second, you are right, it's a great album, i'd rate it 3.5/5 !!!

half is bangers, other half is average (but not bad)

and like cypress hill said, those tracks produced by muggs are amongst the illest from the album...

This album is a 5/5. Fuck it, even gangstas fairytale pt.2 was a excellent showcase of verbal skills. The reason why many wont admit that this is a classic could only be because they are offended by what the subject matter is conveying.

I wouldn't say The Predator is a classic. It's mediocore. Only songs i liked are Wicked, The Predator, It Was A Good Day, We Had To Tear This Muthafucka Up, Don't Trust No, Gangsta's Fairytale part 2, Who Got The Camera. Check Yo Self remix with Das EFX is better than the album version. I got Ice Cube's videos volume 1 on dvd. I was watching the Wicked video about a month ago and i was tripping because Ice Cube had the rock group Red Hot Chili Peppers in the video. What the fuck is he doing hanging with them? LOL. Who were they running from in the video? LOL.
