well what do you expect they are underground artiste and not commercial like wack as 50, so mos def they wou;dn't go platinum in the 1st week...take 36 chambers for example it to a while before it went platinum

That 63.000 is about an other album:

Trace Adkins' last album, Songs About Me, has sold over 1.5 million since coming out in March of 2005. It had about 63,000 sales in the first week. A similar first week this time around would put it somewhere in the Top 10.

You can see that because of the dots in the link, that's why I couldn't find it myself

This means Meth's sales aren't up yet

But we'll see

The chart I follow doesn't have the numbers posted yet. It shows 1-Bob Dylan, 2-The Roots, 3-Method Man. I'll post it when the totals are shown.

FYI - Young Dro is 10, and Too $hort is 13.

Oops, these numbers are the Power Index. Of the artists that were released, this is were they rank. Sorry for the confusion.
