Does anyone else find it offensive that Junior Reid sings the exact same shit on The Game's new single as he did on Wu-Tang's "One Blood Under W" off of The W? It seems fucked up to me and I'm surprised no one has brought it up yet (maybe someone has and I missed it). Any opinions?

One Blood is a song from 1990, it wasn't written for the Wu

ever since the wu came out you had mc's biting their shit you will always get mc's borrowing from wu
i feel they should atleast give a shout out in the track that would show respect most cats don't mention the wu & use their shit i don't like it too much but that's what hip hop has come too the love has been filled with greed i don't really know game i can't judge him but i do feel he should give a shout out in respect of the wu if he is bitting their shit if he does then it's cool let him use it if not then fuck him he can join the rest of those dick riders like his mentor 50 who said shit about the wu & then samples their beats & lines on his mixtapes what a fuckin dickrider that guy should be shot again. |

are you people crazy?
One Blood is an old track that both Wu and Game sampled. Same sample, though Wu I guess had Reid sing it again.

Its not wu's property, or its not copywritten by wu. Its not suspect at all. Wu-tang has nothin to do wit it.

Yo I'm not really commenting on Game or Wu, but Junior Reid is featured in both songs and he doesn't change anything up at all. I guess if it's an older song then that makes a difference, but from what I can tell neither one of them "sampled" it, JR recorded it, and I think it's wack that it sounds exactly the same.

whatever once it has been identified as non-bonafide wu property then i guess Jnr Reid can use it as he chooses.
