Uncontrolled Substance was ill, but could've been a bit better IMO.

Yeah its a shame his solo career isnt what it should have been. Had he released an album around 94-96, it would have been classic.
His top 3 undisputeably in my opinion are Triumph, Guillotine, and Asassination Day.

i love hyperdermix...it's like rappin athletics
INS told me his favorite track is CREAM, and that was one of my first favs...i'd say cream...it's got that authenticity to it, over a track like hyperdermix for sure... |

Everything Deck spit pre-1998 is absolutely FLAWLESS. But the one that stands out the most for me is "Triumph". The first time I heard that I was like WTF???????? Then, when u actually listen to it & break it down, your thinking how the fuck this nigga thought of this verse. On the Wu-Tang Manual GZA says that after he heard Deck's verse, he didin't wanna even get on "Triumph". That's how hot the shit was. Then GZA goes on further to explain the impact of the lines. For example GZA points out that when Deck spits "Black Wu Jackets Queen Bees ease the guns in" (which means that female Wu affiliates sneak the guns in the club because they don't get patted down as much at the door), "the average MC would of been like 'We all rolled to the club/I passed the gun to my shorty' ". And that's true. That's how sick Wu-Tang is with the wordplay. The average MC can't touch them.
