'back in the days' skit off 'operation doomsday' has the beat for 'clipse of doom' off fishscale. thort i'd just point it out and '9 milli bros' beat is off a song on dooms and nas's album 'nastradoomus' cant remember what song but yeah. peace

Nastradoomus is an the nastradamus album, just with all the beats replaced by doom beats. a bit like the grey album by danger mouse. I haven´t heard nastradoomus, but it would be an interesting listen.

Anyway, I´m sick and tired of recycled beats.

I've heard it, there is actually 2 Nastradoomus albums, it's basically Nas tracks from both I AM and Nastradumas albums with already established Doom beats.

Most of the beats Wu has used (or artists in general) that were produced by Doom are recycled. Just like the beat used on E.N.Y. House has been used in skits on Doom albums, mainly Operation Doomsday.

I figure if the artist is too dumb to know better then fuck it. Sell it till you can't sell it no more!

9 Milli Bros is from the Monsta Island Czars album. Another one of the beats someone from Wu used came from a skit from the same album(think it might have been Jellyfish) Also Ghost used one from a skit from MM Food. MK used one from a skit also. All these Doom beats are just selected from his instrumental albums. They go in there and pick one that seems hot. Doom has used a lot of these for songs or cut them short for skits or sold them to other people already.

he's right tho... the dude who mixed it (imo kinda sloppy) is called "max bedroom"

oh yeah and to clear that up:

the "clipse of doom" beat was used on a skit called "back in the days" from the "operation: doomsday" lp and on a song called "rain blood" by megalon (which was released on mf grimm's album "the downfall of iyblis: a ghetto opera" and megalon's first solo album "a penny for your thoughts")

the "gunz n' razors" and the "e.n.y. house" beats were both used as as interludes between tracks of doom's sophomore lp "mm.. food"

the "9 milli bros" instrumental was used on the album "escape from monsta island" and was called "1,2.. 1,2" and on an excellent metal fingers remix of m.o.p.'s "ante up" on the release special blends vol. 1

Exactly, It was on the cd itself, like Nastradoomus, mixed by.... And these were pretty sloppy compared to the God's Stepson album from 9th Wonder. That was 9th right?

Somebody pointed that out immediatly when the album came out. I was like damn. That beat is so hard. But it's old again.

This brings up that whole recycled beat point. Can you do it? Is it a rip off? Do we need new music? Is an artist lazy? Is it just good music?
