Default Wu-Tang Remastered

RZA needs to remaster 36 Chambers, Forever, and the first set of solo albums. I have the remastered Iron Man and it sounds something that just dropped. My favorite group, but they needed some better engineers in the studio. If someone in the Wu camp really reads this forum, consider the idea

yeah, you can def. hear a difference. Back when older hiphop albums...even some newer ones on shitty labels that were made with a low budget, they sounded shitty, just as hendrix did etc... Go buy the illmatic remaster, or ready to die. those are some of the more famous ones.

Hendrix sounded FUCKING GREAT from the start-- i defy ya'll to get halfway decent vinyl & claim differently.

for a long time, however, digital transfers of analogue recordings SUCKED & cds routinely sounded MUCH worse than vinyl. things have gotten better but...

as the dude talking about "louder" Biggie suggests, you enter into a whole new world of problems, esp. as big record companies want to make things sound "good" to the widest array of people. what bumps yr ipod or computer is gonna sound like SHIT on a real stereo. i don't know enought about the details of RZA & Wu's recording methods to know if they need remastering or not but i suspect NOT.

in audio, newer is usually worse, not better. not ALWAYS but mostly, & for the most part, we're STILL trying to get back to a hot vinyl sound.

I don't understand the resistance to this. At worst there will be no difference, at best we'll have a clearer sound.
