Im tryin to learn how to use photoshop, Right now i really cant do a thing!

Can you guys give me the names of some websites or give me tips to help me improve.

The first thing i wanna learn to do is make sigs, are they hard to do? Do they take long?

First thing you need to learn to create signatures is cutting and blending and create original styled fonts.

You can cut out images by using the "cut tool" (obviously, "Eraser Tool", "Magic Wand" or the "Pen Tool".

The best tool is the Pen Tool, but you gotta learn to work with it first tho.With clean images with a blank,black or whatever background it's easy to use the magic wand tool,just click everywhere excempt on the image itself and hit delete and you'll create a transparant image in no time, but this don't work with all images that's why you'll need to learn to work with the pen or cut tool.

Yeah that's that cut tool I told

It's quite good but leaves lots of cracks, you can't ever cut, like for instance a head, nicely without any edges.

hmm... that black and white mansons head in my sig was cut out using magnetic lasso tool... and if you have some little cracks you can fix them using blur tool. it doesen't work well for big images, but for sigs its a great economy of time...

yeah, with the magnetic one you can get it right sometimes, but you'll notice it won't work with everything, pen tool is the best,works even with the most detailed images.

i agree that pen tool is the best, but it takes time to master it and it's not the best choice for beginer. let him start with basic stuff, so he'll get interested. after he'll get interested, he'll want to master the harder tools of PS. otherways newbie can get scared of all this graphic things.
just my opinion.

How do i put a good text in a sig? I know about dafont.com, but how do i use some of them fonts on photoshop?
