every aceyalone album on there is at least a 9/10 i think, in the end its just a couple of peoples opinions, i always found it to at least give information about the style and sound of an album.

I check out rapreviews.com, they are almost everytime on point, but not always..

once in a while, I check out amazon...(allthough here you have the problem that most people either LOVE the album or HATE it... but you find good short reviews by the buyers)

Aside from rapreviews, I sometimes check out the expert ratings on albums...they are helpful. The user reviews suck balls though.

I usually check rapreviews because of the fact that they only review rap albums, and all the reviewers are avid rap listeners. There are some questionable reviews sometimes, but usually they're on point.

There are some things you gotta know about em though:
1. They give a lot of mainstream rap albums 7 to 8.5 outta 10, which basically means that the albums are your typical mainstream rap. So just 'cause 50 Cent gets an 8.5 and Wu-Tang gets a 9, doesn't mean the albums are THAT similar.
2. Also they give scores relative to the artist. If Wu-tang gets a 6/10, just means that compared to Wu-tang potential, the album is only a 6/10.

okayplayer has some pretty good reviews of albums that aren't reviewed by other sources. it's worth a look imo

Yeah thats what many don't understand. Usually when they give someone's few personal classics low scores, its enough for them to shut the door.
