According to Joblo.com and Bat-to-film.com (too lazy to put links but go to joblo.com). Cillian Murphy will return to play the scarecrow in the sequel. He is suppose to come up with the "joker toxin", and tries to betray the joker, but joker kills him. Apparently the scarecrow in the comics uses the toxin on joker but it has no effect.

These are just rumors, but it makes sense, and we will know in the next month or two if this is true. Hopefully it is, since Cillian Murphy said at an interview two years ago, that he may return in future bat films. The director wants to use the scarecrow in the future, hence why he wasnt killed off in the previous film.

Interesting news, and I like it.

Can't wait for this movie, and I have faith in Heath.He seems to me to be able to represent a younger Joker than the one Nicholson portrayed so well.

I found out about some information regarding the Joker and his face, and from what I gather, strong indication that the info may be acurate. If you don't want to know then I suggest you STOP READING, POSSIBLE SPOILER.

Ok here it is, apparently the Joker will start out wearing some sort of clown mask and during some sort of accident, his face gets burned underneath leaving a horrible disfigured clown imprint on his face.

Meh I dont want him fucking up anything more, he already started with the murderer of Bruce's parents from Young Joker to street thug. We never saw THE JOKER [as in purple suit wearing non stop smiling maniac] until the 1st Batman, its fine to see a younger one, but dont make him THE JOKER in the next upcoming Batman movie

for me jack will always be the best joker

but those 2 choices mentioned ...... fit the joker character well

actually, it was Tim Burton who fucked that scenario up. The Young Joker (or Jack Napier) was never the killer of Bruce Wayne's parents in the comics, Tim BUrton just added that to create a more antagonistic feeling and tension between Joker and Batman. The real killer, was a guy named Joe Chill:

Yes, I know. I already knew about Joe Chill, so before I saw Batman Begins I was wondering if Nolan was gonna go the comic route or Burton's route and continue with Jack as the killer. A shitload of comic book movies usually always have a few things going against the comics, my main gripe is CONTINUITY, DONT fuck it up. If we have seen that Jack was the killer with Keaton, DONT switch it around and tell me it was some motherfucker named JOE CHILL
