btw, Street Fighters Last Revenge is a very entertaining flick. not as good as the first 2, because theres more exploitive violence, and sonny chiba is more of an all around badass in them...but SFLR is still worth checking out.

that depends on how much find it for...if u can get it the 4 flix for like 5 bux or somethin go for it, for sure, but if the price is like 20 bux or somethin, then i'd say no, look around for a single copy. generally u can find these films really cheap.

"anyone seen 'tiger on the beat'?
this is chow yun fat and gordon liu i think john woo directed it is it worth coppin also anyone seen holy robe of shaolin or hard boiled? i just copped these" Tiger on Beat is NOT directed by john woo, its directed by SB legend Lau Kar Leung. also stars Conan Lee (from ninja in the dragons den). the Tiger on Beat movies are pretty love-it-or-hate-it among most fans...personally, i didnt like them. i dont think Lau Kar Leung is cut out for modern settings. so i guess its a toss up to u. ive seen Holy Robe and Hardboiled. Hardboiled is my fav john woo flick..gun battles are absolutely ridiculous. good story too. if u watch carefully, u can catch Venom Phillip Kwok/Kuo Chui in a role in there. Tony Leung and Chow Yun Fat are cool as ice in this movie. a definete 5.5 from me. Holy Robe of Shaolin is a cool mainland chinese kung fu flick. the fights overall are pretty solid, and the locations are interesting, however the main problem with this film is that some parts are very very slowwwww. it stars the Iron Monkey (93 version) himself, Yu Rong Guang in an early role. directed, choreographed and possibly written by Tsui Siu Ming (the monk from Buddhist Fist). overall its a good flick, i give it a 3.8 |
