I heard it was someone in their crew not a member of wu tang clan, and tupac didn't snatch the chain. he helped them get it back. That story about the briefcase sounds like bullshit, wu was nobodies in 92, cappa was locked up.

Kinda what I remember too, but I wasn't there so who knows. Just heard that Pac, outta respect, called the Wu and said he'd help get the chain back, and did.

As far as the briefcase shit, never heard no shit like that, but it sounds like its referring to that shit when Ghost was on rap city and Tigga asked him what was in his briefcase and Ghost got hot and said some slick shit soundin like he was gonna fuck tigga up.

And that masta shit, did happen. Pretty sure it was cause the guy who did that story in whatever magazine had funny pictures of the wu, like they had a fat black dude in a chefs apron which was raekwon, etc. I think they were just trying to be funny, Masta obviously felt otherwise, supposedly he punched dude in his face. Supposedly he walked up to dude, asked him who he was, dude said who he was, and masta just snuffed him, and supposedly afterward said "wu tang clan aint nothin to fuck with".

I put supposedly a lot for a reason. Take it for what its worth. Suppposedly this reporter, writer, whatever he was, actually admitted this happened in an mtv interview.
