Tank on the streets of Sydney

A man has been arrested after allegedly taking an armoured personnel carrier on a rampage in Sydney’s western suburbs. Police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command were patrolling Sterling Road at Minchinbury about 2am when they allegedly discovered the armoured vehicle destroying an electricity substation. Officers followed the tank through several suburbs, including Mt Druitt, Dharruk, Emerton, Glendenning and Plumpton. The tank left a path of destruction in its wake - bringing down a number of mobile phone towers and relay sheds. The pursuit ended in Dean Park about 90 minutes later when the vehicle stalled as it was allegedly being driven towards another mobile phone tower. Police moved in and arrested the 45-year-old Dharruk man. He was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he is currently assisting officers with their inquiries. Anyone who witnessed the incident, who hasn’t already spoken with police, is urged to contact Mt Druitt Police Station on (02) 9625 0000 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 unedited film footage "normaly peaceful" thats alot of bullshit, nothing immediately west of sydney is peaceful
