I need a program that can cut parts of tracks like say a song has a long intro so you can use a program and take it out

i nkow there must be a million of these programs out there just dont know where to look really

i know one of you lot could help

just for listening purposes for stuff liek phone ring tones or for when in the car and stuff you jus dont need the real long intros and abit for my i pod aswell

and thanks for the offer of cutting the songs but quite a few i want to do it with and if i need to do it any other tiem its handy to have

I think audacity will work, which is freeware. a google search should get you someone who has it.

I use Recycle which would work but is more of a production-type program and kinda pricey though I'm sure there's a torrent for it out there.

i downloaded auadicy and i cut a bit out (i think) and then iw ent to save it as mp3 and it said i need anouther program to do that. dont know why? i ahte it when u download a program then have to download anouther to use it grrr

I use Cakewalk and Cubase for recording tracks. You can use that to cut shit out you dont want

dont make it sound so hard, U can get the missing file off the internet.
Audacity is like a 1,000$ program to me.
