Yea I took it to mean that too... but if you look at that other lyric, "separate the English from the Dutch", I think that means he's savvy enough to know that "white people" aren't all the same. And in America, the English are really the dominant people, so I take "Eat with the English" to be him bragging about his status.

Another, entirely different interpretation, though, is that he's saying he makes his money with his words, so he feeds himself with English (the language).
