after listening to the offering 6x in the last 2 days and heavy mental once this is a tough call, but im leaning towards preist. the offering is just so amazing preist is really impressive wit his flow on it. not taking away from gza but damn preist is sick. definitly my 2 favorite from the wu.

probably the 2 greatest lyricist of all time. maybe nas, rakim, or common can be mentioned up there with them

Killah Priest hands down... his flow and delivery are so natural compared to GZA
It is effort-less to him.
And I haven't heard The Offering yet and when I do it should confirm any doubts I have which are allready small.

Not quite sure what flow & delivery have to do with a poll about lyricism, but I can understand how someone could choose Priest over GZA to a certain extent. Priest is hella metaphorical, and an absolute beast with his rhymes. But, I'd still say GZA got him on the lyrical level.

Idk about Lyricism, KP sometimes sounds corny and GZA nowadays does too. Flow, they are both pretty average. GZA, because he used to be a punch line MC.

Killah Priest

All in my eyes are much more lyrical than GZA.
Not taking anything away from GZA but he comes the same on literally evey rack I have heard Killah Priest & Holocaust own many styles like say The RZA.
GZA said it himself~

"My Rap Flow Automatic But Never Empty.....Dont Tempt Me"

He reminds me of robot always coming the same, his voice helps him out a lot I think he sounds clever if you see what I am saying and no doubt he is very clever but he is not on Priests level when it comes to Imagery.
And clearly Killah Priest has the vastly more large body of work.
His verses on Black Market Militia alone are unmatched.

They are both high ranking MC's but are not exactly the same by any means.
One of my friends, his favourite MC is GZA and even he admits that Priest is ahead of him!
I swear no one has come close to making a track like "Black August Light"
Where I would say Killah Priest is untouchable.

Still yet to hear "The Offering"
