loads of people i no have had problems with faulty i pods. my bro is on his 3rd one cos of faulty he had to keep given them bak to the shop

ive never heard of anyone having to return one. I dont know if i made this clear but even though its fragile and shit im very happy with mine. Sound quality is good, ipod to car quality is better then i expected, and even though its beat up it still works fine.

Don't buy a Dell DJ, I bought a 20 GB about a year ago and it would always jam like once a week. Then a few weeks ago it jammed and I resetted it and it went to rescue mode, now it won't get out.

yeah, IPods aren't just popular for nothing these are good quality, easy to use and ofcourse it has the sound quality, which is most important to me. You can either get the 20GB ones (I think they come with color screens now) or the 30GB photos. This is totally up to you, what you think you will need.

However, recently Sony released an IPod "killer", The 20GB NW-HD5, this baby kills the IPod because of its battery life of about 28 hours. It's still kinda new though, and you may not like Sony because they use different file formats and such, and this is still a new product so its still not that reliable.

If u want a real small and harddrive based mp3 player, the IPod Mini is the way to go. However I think the normal IPods are not that big already.

Flash based players still have their advantages, because theyre not that expensive, don't weigh as much, probably some other things I cant think of at the moment. Anyways the
Creative MuVo TX line or the newer Creative N200 or something are good, they're a little better than the Shuffles.

can u use Windows Media Player 10 to sync the audi files onto the iPod?
i saw a taped demo on stage @ microsoft.com, where this guy used WMP10 to sync up the mp3 files to a mp3 player.....

not that using iTunes will matter, i just thought WMP10 can do that

i have the ipod photo 30gb it's hot but invest in a protector it tends to get scratch up easily.
I can view photos listen to wu Rate songs create a playlist... it cost like $350
But worth every penny

lol arnt u lucky........damn this got a lot of post in it ......since i posted.....yea i might go and get the 20 gig one .....100 more bucks and u have 16 more gigs lol....but yea ...the batterys ...i heard are not that great....but i dont think i would use it 15 hours a day....maybe 2 or at the most....so it should last about a week befor u regarge...like my cell phone lol
