Default Sioux?

What does the Clan mean when they shout out sioux? Method Man and U-God both say it in Protect Ya Neck and RZA says it in the Gravel Pit music video.

Its like walking up the street and seeing your homeboy from a distance and saying "AYE YO"

Its just a distinct call to to acknowledge someone. Almost like saying "yo"

LMAO!!! Damn, breaking this shit down is easy...
