Anyone else like these guys? They’re one of my favorite bands. Over the last year I’ve bought all these cats albums, and I gotta say these guys are dope. The Musicianship and Compositions on stuff like ‘Deacon Blue’ and ‘Bodhisattva’ is incredible. Not to mention their frequently humorous and moving lyrics. Also these guys haven’t made a dud album, even their two most recent joints were good, although not as good as their original run of albums. Got all their albums except the last one. Funky shit. I'm sure Premo sampled them somewhere that aint on that list, can't remember what on.

yeah i've been into them for a bit. love their shit. i put em on every once ina while. i got 2 albums, aja and a remastered "best of" that i got from a friend of mine. its kinda soothing to listen to while blazed. deacon blues is amazing. love that song.

Their debut 'Can't Buy A Thrill' is very underated too, some of their most profound lyrics and catchy melodies. You guys heard Donald Fagens solo shit? 'The Nightfly' is a dope record.

My dad has their Aja and Gaucho albums. He also has Donald Fagen's The Nightfly album. I've heard these albums and they're good. I got Steely Dan's greatest hits cd from the library last weekend. I haven't heard the whole thing yet. My favorite songs by them are Black Cow(Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz sampled this for Deja Vu song), Deacon Blues, Peg, Babylon Sisters.

Yea my Dad used to always play his music! I used to think when i was younger "Ohhhh not again!" But now i really like it i guess u just like certain music when u grow up listening to it all the time. Thanks to my Dad though im into all kinds of that music now
