Are they anything like TV On Radio or Tricky or The Dears?
To me, Portishead is amazingly good and better than these other artist. Think RZA'a dark production on 36 Chambers and Liquid Swords, than imagine a hauntedly-beautiful voice singing to them. Beth Gibbons voice is beautiful and you will love the beats. Wait 'till you hear these songs: Sour Times, It Could Be Sweet, Wandering Star, Roads, Pedestal, Glory Box, Undenied, and Over, you will be blown away. I promise you Oasis hat's The Story Morning Glory is a great album. I love She's Electric, Roll With It, Hello, and of course their popular singles: Champagne Supernova (amazing), and Wonderwalls (so good).
