Woman Accused Of Murdering Woman, Unborn Baby To Face Death Penalty

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- St. Clair County prosecutors on Wednesday announced they plan to seek the death penalty against an East St. Louis woman in the drowning deaths of three children.

Tiffany Hall, 24, already faces a possible death sentence on charges she murdered the childrens' mother, Jimella Tunstall, and Tunstall's unborn baby.



Hall is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of the woman and the children. She is also charged with intentional homicide of an unborn child in the death of Tunstall's 7-month-old fetus.

Hall has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Police have testified in hearings that Hall admitted to clubbing Tunstall on the head repeatedly with a table leg, then cutting her fetus from the womb
