Im not that familiar with Shang Chi, I know he's like a Bruce Lee type of hero with no powers. I would say Iron Fist has the edge cos he has the skills plus he has super powers.

Shang Chi. He's the greatest martial artist, doesn't matter if Iron Fist packs the one hitter quitter if he can't lay it on Shang Chi........he's done. No contest.

fist knows a style that noone else can defend,. no matter what worldly martial art style they know, because its a lost style. plus hes quicker than shang chi. after about 2 hours of intense combat, danny rand wins, WITHOUT THE USE OF THE IRON FIST.

see, iron fist knows a style that is supposedly THE ultimate martial art. only the few who grew up in k'un l'un even know what it looks like. so no martial art known in the known world can really defend it. its unkown. shang chi is a badass, no doubt. but his styles are known to the world (like kung fu & jeet kun do). fist handed black panther his ass and gave him a brain tumor when he let the technique out. he always holds back.

fist lets some of his real technique out, shang in a coma for a couple weeks.

Maybe, but Shang Chi practices Shalion Kung-Fu. He's a master of the 36 chambers. Shang Chi is invincible. So you see, Iron fist will get man handled by Chi. Shang Chi has the kung fu philosphy, spirituality, mentality, and physical attributes of a master. Iron Fist just looks cute in his costume.

But I think we should just agree to disagree.

so thats the stats according to the big marvel book.pretty evenly matched, with a slight edge goin to danny rand. and the last sentence of iron fists profile states "he is, in short, the perfect martial artist." plus he has a mad cute costume, dammit.
