Just got home from 'War of the Worlds'
And while it was a good movie, I think its much too over hyped.
And the whole thing, the ending and all, just seemed to "simple"
I dont know how to put it. Youll understand when u see it.
I like movies where you have to think a little at least. Ya know?
But overall, a good movie. I give it a 7.8/10.
Over average - Below great.

Fantastic 4 - 4

Good shit, the CG on this film was amazing, and the comedy was good, not to much, thats good, the guy that playued human torch made that movie funny.

the bad part of the movies were the 50 cent song in the film, the part when the Human Torch made a Heat Guided Missile hit a trash containin ship, that i kept saying "who was driving that ship, so hes now dead?". and the battle at the end between Dr. Doom and the fantastic 4 was short.

but still it was a good movie.

Belly
The Belly thread sparked my interest in this movie. So, last night popped in the DVD and was thoroughly entertained. Love Hypes visual techniques in the movie: the darkness, the contacts in the eyes, the darkness, the wardrobe, scenaries, and the darkness - guess Hype didn't have enough budget for lighting. X stole the show. Nas was Nas. Power and Meth representing WU, "I was up in the Wu Wear store..." said Knowledge. Last night I was reminded why I deemed this movie a classic hood story.

GREAT FILM!!!!

Sad ending, but hey at least we know the movie is over and they cant mess it up by making a part 4.

but i do want to see if they make the movie HOBBIT, which should be the prequel to the 3 Lord of the Rings movies!
