reformating/system restore problem

when i went to college last year, we had to use mcaffee to get the internet and their virus program and all that right and i uninstalled figuring all the features such as system restore would be fixed and haven been able to do so. and i research online on how to fix it and came accross some solutions but none works especially microsofts system restore and i was wondering if any of yall know how to fix it.

i herd they cant restore and some actualy burn out if you try.

nah its a custom and when i went to college they fucked my shit up and haven't been able to fix it
