I'm much of a fan of reading, but the book was really inspiring.

I read it in about four hours too, I loved the book. RZA should write more..

My only problem with it was that in Book 3, the lyrics-interpretation section, some of the lyrics to the songs were wrong. Even worse, some of RZA's verses seemed wrong.. o_O

Whatever, overall it was a great book that every wu-head should own.

It was a fantastic read

Rza broke broke everything down lovely. I taught is was cool John Woo let RZA sample his movie for free, since he was a fan. I like how RZA explain why the different Wu members get on songs, because some of them remind him of instruments and the weather - which I always felt some of the Wu albums fit perfectly with the different seasons. For example Liquid Swords, and 36 Chambers reminds me of the Winter seasons, while Ironman, OBC4L, and Wu Forever suits perfectly with the Spring/Summer/Fall seasons - that's just my weird observation. I also like when RZA compared the chemicals drugs, and the fuck up processed food we love to eat. His break down of that, clearly show the chemicals in drugs were way better than the shit in those food, LOL.

The Manual was an excellent read. All Wu heads should get it a.s.a.p, along with Disciple's of The 36 Chambers DVD.

Very detailed book; I enjoy reading it multiple times. I will cop a copy for my brother so that he can understand Shaolin 36 Chambers.
