I've seen the previews for Prom Night movie several times and it looks scary. It looks like it should be rated R instead of PG-13. Idris Elba who played on The Wire tv show, This Christmas and Daddy's Little Girls movies is in this as a cop.

A bunch of 'scary' movies get pg-13 ratings nowadays. I think it helps with the revenues cause younger people can get into the movies, without an adult. Usually the pg-13 rated scary moves are pretty bad though, such as this one.
