Sometimes. Some of the classical music I sit through when I'm making beats drives me mad. Some film score type stuff that just shouldn't be listened to without pictures to go along with it. Classical music can be very relaxing though.

im taking a "music" classic.

needless to say 90% of it is white ppl shit cause they're the only ones that exist.

but i'm gaining and understanding for classical music and starting to like it

expecially from the baroque and romantic era, La Primavera is sickness, heat off the 66

but it's still horrible overrated and over glorified for the same reason that 90% of a university music class is all european music

Couldn't agree more, most classical is shit on it's own. Needs video.

I wouldn't agree with that. A lot of classical music is cool, it's just that I listen to a lot of film scores on vinyl looking for samples and they're usually abstract as fuck without the film to go with them.

u cant really compare film score composers with the great classical ones.
sure there are good film composers but come on.

classical s not overrated, it s what it is, period. it requires a lot of musicians to be played (symponic music i mean), and requires a lot of skill to execute too. that doesnt mean it s better or worse, it s just different.

most classical is shit without video? wtf???

True, those were some real artists, not like nowadays, sit your lazy ass infront of a computer and produce a beat...that shit is childsplay.
But it takes alot of talent and creativity to cook up something marvelous like back in the good ol' barok/renaissance days.

There's only very few who can match up to these standards.

Howard shore's music for instance on that Eastern Promisses joint...that's some sweet modern classic music...absolutely love that.

But none of present day music artists can fuck with the classic sheet music.

you can teach an animal to play an instrument

you can't teach an animal to use a computer
