You'd put yourself in a bit of a pickle if that happened. You have to be extra careful and the worst thing that could happen if the crispy triangles break and fall into the mix as well. I daresay you should keep a fork at hand, just in case.

well i would forget about it for the time being and continue to eat the other doritos. soon the content of the dip will decrease, revealing the lost doritos. that way time isnt wasted searching for the lost doritos in the dip. the risk of breaking it is less. its the more practical method.

I admire you patience Han, but in the end there's still a Dorito chip drenched in guacamole sauce and to get it out, you either have to get your fingers befouled or get the tools out. Tough decision indeed.

then you have to use a certain area of the dip. that way theres less risk of cracking the lost doritos. its all a matter of mathematical evaluation. by calculating the average surface area of the single doritos. then by calculating the viscosity of the dip. you can first predict how far the doritos fell in the dip. then you can predict the areas in the dip which are safe to dip, without making contact with the lost doritos.
