Do you have any religious books or books on any religion that you recommend? Anything that you read and found good/interesting/inspiring/informative? Anything counts here, just dont mention The Quran or The Bible because Im sure all of us have heard of those already However, if you have a favorite translation or one with great explanations, do share...
P.S. Even books critical of religion are welcome. |

what version of the bible would one recommend i start with?

Try reading the New King James Version. I have the bible app too on my iTouch and that's the version I read most often.

Another good book worth reading is "Original Blessing" by Matthew Fox (no, not the actor. the former Catholic now Episcopal reverend and mystic).
