You look at dudes like Last Emp, Dre dropped him, Rakim, Dre dropped him...a lot of dope people got dropped...I kind of lost respect for Dre when I bought the 2001 instrumentals and saw that he had very little to do with the sounds being produced, like someone else would do drums, another person would do guitar, someone else (usually Mike Elizondo) would do bass...and it's kind of like: Why produce if you don't really play any instruments?

Dre tells them what to play and how he wants it to sound.
