I don't think AZ tops Nas verse but equals it. Yeah, Aziatic is great, it's probably in my top 5 for favorite albums that dropped so far in this millenium. I can't wait to get my hands on AWOL, I only heard a few tracks and I could've DLed all of it but I have a lot of confidence in him. peace

AZ got Nas on that track imo. AZ's flow and lyrics were just better. Also that's a difficult verse to follow for any MC

That's one of the few collabos where i'm not waiting for a particular verse. You can't act like Nas didn't come correctly. "...so i switched my motto / instead of saying fuck tomorrow / that buck that bought the bottle could have struck the lotto..." Sheeeit - they both killed it. And Nas deserves his propers for putting his boy on a classic album and letting him shine - just like he recently did with Quan. This is why Nas and AZ are such an incredible combo. It's not even about outdoing the other emcee. It's about two of the best coming together and blessing a track. How bout "Serious"? These two need to come through with an LP "Only Built..." style maan.

^ yeah, i definatly wasn't takin anything away from Nas on that song. They both laid unbelievable verses. The only time I didn't like when these two got together was "The Flyest". Mo Money Mo Murder Mo Homicide is just a dope as anything on Illmatic. Yeah, they should do a duo album, that'd be unstoppable.
