Dude is insane. Plus GZA is pushing 50's door down (the age, not the artist) and Budden is still a young up and comer. Pump It Up is on another level lyrically, does anyone think that GZA could match something like that?

What does age have to do with how good an MC is? Maybe the delivery lacks but not lyrics. Buddens never dropped Liquid Swords, end topic |

So that album is comparable to undisputed classic revered by many Wu-Tang and NON Wu Tang fans? Did it change the game? Did it inspire other producers to try & imitate the LS sound? GZA dropped Labels, 4th Chamber, Sparring Minds, Clan In Da Front, Killah Hills 10304 and a slew of guest appearances.

Pro Tools was just barely released!!! not to mention sales dont mean shit, Illmatic took forever to reach platinum as did 36 Chambers. GZA had probably only even rapped about chess 3-4 times...WOW. Budden's "classics" arent even touching GZA's classic songs

Budden is rapping about real ghetto shit like a dude being in jail for killing some dude, and his sister being raped, and the step dad actually being the father of the dude who the first dude killed, and the dude getting out of jail and confronting the step dad and end up killing the sister by accident. GZA been in the game for 30 years and he doesn't dare touch on topics like this.

Maybe because it never happened to him and decided to not rap about things that wasnt true to his life? NO WAY
# - Joe Budden - "Mood Muzik 3: The Album" (1,100 sold first week) GZA already murked that with Pro Tools since you threw out sales figures |
