It's actually one of the albums that made ma a Wu fan. It's so damn good. It's perfect. I has everything. The Wu-Tang Clan features, some Killa Bee features, Wu-Tang production beats, slow tracks, hardcore tracks, Kung-Fu samples. It's amazing.
THE PILLAGE = A CLASSIC. Masta Killah did the same on No Said Date. Wu guests, Wu beats and Kung-Fu. And guess what? No Said Date was bangin' too. Now Inspectah Deck tells around that he is going to the same. And Cilvaringz his cd will be filled with Clan members, Killa Beez and Wu beats too. These are the great albums, the cd's that fans want to hear. The real shit, like the old cd's like, Liquid Swords, OB4CL, Ironman, Wu-Tang Forever, Silent Weapons et cetera... |

The beats on that album were incredabley dope!!!I was there on the autograph signing went it came out on 98.....and I'll never forget when they blasted that "blood on blood war" joint...I was like holyyy fuck that shit is ill!!!! Cappa really impressed me with this album.....definately a Wu banger!!!

I'm going to go against the grain here, and say that this album is overrated. Ok by me saying it's overrated, i'm not saying this is a bad album. This features good production on many of the tracks, MCF, Supa Ninjaz, Milk The Cow, South of the Border, and Everything is Everything are all very well produced. I have a real tough time saying that Cappadonna rips this cd, because in my opinion, he doesn't. This CD is ripped by The Elements, RZA, Tru Master etc, and had good guest spots by the gods. On tracks when it's just Cappa rambling over a simple beat, it gets real sleepy to me. So as I said, this is a better than average album, but falls short of the "classic" label several have given this album and perhaps even short of "wu-banger" status. Bring the heat if you must.
