Scarface To Release Final Solo Album

Southern rap star Scarface is currently getting ready to release his final solo album, Emeritus.

While Scarface doesn’t plan to quit rapping, from now on he will only be heard collaborating with other artists.

“I don’t retire, I quit," the rapper told MTV.

“It feels real good. The Emeritus record, the reason I’m so proud of it is because it’s my last. I’m done, man. If you leave it up to me, I quit."

“Only thing that’s gonna be bring me back [is] if I do an album with somebody. Me, Cube and Nas do something, or me and Jigga and Beans do something. It’s gotta be a trio or duo. Me and Bun B do a duo. That’s why I took that name Emeritus, dude. Because I’m gone. I’m retiring with honors and still holding the position," he continued.

Emeritus, Scarface’ ninth official album, is set to be released on December 2.

The album will feature rappers Lil Wayne as well as Bun B.

I hope his new album is better than his last 3 shitty albums MADE, Balls And My Word, My Homies part 2. I don't believe a rapper when they say they're gonna quit rapping. When i don't hear from the rapper anymore, then that's when i believe that the rapper quit. Scarface is a legend. I wish him, Willie D, Bushwick would do another Geto Boys album.
