Mouthwash that contains alcohol has been linked to cancer, a recent study found.

The study, published in the Australian Dental Journal, concludes there is ``sufficient evidence'' that "alcohol-containing mouthwashes contribute to the increased risk of [the] development of oral cancer."
The ethanol in mouthwash is thought to allow cancer-causing substances to permeate the lining of the mouth more easily and cause harm.
Acetaldehyde, a toxic by-product of alcohol that may accumulate in the oral cavity when swished around the mouth, is also believed to be carcinogenic.

Some mouthwash contains as much as 26 percent alcohol.
The study's author ProfessorMichael McCullough told The Sunday Telegraph alcohol-containing mouthwash should be reclassified as prescription-only and carry written health warnings.
"We see people with oral cancer who have no other risk factors than the use of alcohol-containing mouthwash, so what we've done in this study is review all the evidence that's out there,'' he said.

mouthwash hurts more than it helps....y u think dentists dont recommend that shit...unless they sell it at their clinic then that shit is tha holy grail of mouth care lol

Also - chewing gum man - I know some women that chew too much gum and it makes the mouth stink even more.

Most contain asparatame and alcohols.

Research how poisonous asparatame is.

many deodorants prevent us from releasing many toxins from our bodies so wearing deodorant is really harming us....theres another downside to hygiene products....lets work towards soap.

I suffer from excessive sweating. Even the strongest deodorant won't really help me but I have to wear it everyday. If I don't, my shirts will be soaked in my own sweat. Deodorant is a must for me.

Why make products if they're harmful?

it can also be put into water stirred up and injested

it removes toxins like no other

its also the ultimate toothpaste

also if one starts a diet of nothing except raw organic fruits and veggies

and gets into that whole science....after a while bad breath and body odor will virtually vanish

Yeah, and the aluminum that is in a lot of anti persperants has been proven to be linked to breast cancer and other things, as the body cannot handle the toxic amount of aluminum.
