is a construction trife would never ever come up with, as well as the ending:

"Life's a B, Bentley and big bills

which is one of those "eat with the english"-style "barely rhymes, it's all in how you say it" kind of trademark ghostface lines that, again, just isn't trife's style.

it's obvious that trife, having been by ghost's side for the past 8 years, has influenced ghost. but there's a big difference between that and saying trife ghostwrote the verse for him, which in a case like pasley darts where each guy is just supposed to come with their illest rhymes doesn't even make sense.

i seriously doubt trife's contributed anything more than a line here or there on ghost's albums, but the ones where ghost appears on another rapper's record are more suspect.

Both Trife verses, no doubt about it.

No ones saying GFK didnt put in his own line here n there, of course he prolly did, but those are Trife verses, straight up.

Youre looking at the words, Firm, but you also need to be looking at the patterns of the tense.

GFK has never done his own veres with the rigid structure of a Trife verse. A real GFK verse is all over the fuckign place,patterns, flow, rhythem, he flexes it all the time, theres non of that structure of a Trife, hell flip a new style every few lines, like Mef does, and like his biggest rap influence, Slick Rick does.

I know the longtime close attention Ghostface fans know whatim talkinbout. I can see how a casual listener it isnt so obvious. Im not saying Firm is a casual listener btw.

i really don't know how you can pigeonhole ghostface's style, which throughout his entire career has evolved much more than the average rapper, and say anything that deviates from that set of "ghost traits" automatically must be written by someone else.

look it's simple: ghost picked up styles from a lot of different people he came in contact with:

-moving from 36 to cuban he picked up rae's delivery
-he really stepped up his slang game and usage of abstract terms when cappa came on the scene
-his more emotive delivery is straight from superb

what's so hard to believe about ghost having absorbed trife's style since BPW?

i think you want to believe that ghost's more recent work, particularly the stuff you don't like, is written by someone else because you don't want to recognize that ghost has changed. and now when he goes to turn in a verse of his illest darts it comes out sounding like his verse on paisley darts or 9 milli bros instead of like it did on triumph.

when you hang around real people you tend to pick up some of their phrases, mannerisms, etc.

well the same thing has happened with ghost throughout his career. he's subconsciously absorbed words (like "big doe rehab") and other shit from the rappers he's been around. trife is no different. it happens.
