RZA and Dre already agreed its a great idea creatively and historically.

Ol' Dirty Bastard came up with the idea of Wu-Tang signing to Aftermath

hahahaha...wutang is not signing with aftermath. Thats absured!!! Anyway, the good news of the day is about ghostface's new album about to drop this year. From what I heard its going to be ill as hell!! Why???.....cause he's going to join forces with mf doom muahahaha!!! Those two always had similiar styles and it great that mf doom is not only going to produce some of the tracks but also drop some verses.

Why not if RZA and ODB already told that they like the idea? I'm not a big fan of Aftermath considering the music they put out, but at least they know how to promote their shit. Couldn't get any worse than Loud when Iron Flag dropped.

Aftermath is currently the biggest hiphop label and that's what Wu-Tang needs. A Clan album shouldn't go barely gold/platinum and be forgotten like the last two albums.

I agree that the last 2 clan albums didnt do great but to go to aftermath???? It doesnt make sense...Rza is the producer not Dre!! To me its not about who sells the most records..its who puts the real substance...and dre is not the answer. Wu should stay underground... not commercial. Rza is the controller and he has the power to bring wutang back..not dre.

Like Dre produces everything on Aftermath. He didn't do much on the last 50 Cent album.

I think Dre knows damn well that Dre/Eminem beats wouldn't work for the Wu and puts RZA in charge.

And Wu-Tang underground? Gotta be jokin'. Wu-Tang is probably the biggest and most influental hiphop group of all times. Wu was everywhere when Forever came out(commercials, music channels, clothing etc). And as long as they keep making good music, they simply deserve that #1 spot.

I still think its not a great idea...but if Rza gets the controls over the album then ok. And yes Wutang will always be underground cause they are grimey as it gets even though they are one of the most influental groups of all time. I still think they can do it without Dre.
