Yeah that Wiki page is bullshit, Escobar was before Linx, I remember this line from his verse on Mobb Deep's "Eye 4 An Eye" (Infamous was out in April `95, Linx was August `95)

from my understanding nas was cool with the wu camp since real early. ive read interviews that they would spend alot of time together, the homies get names to thats what happens when you chill with people. i guess thats the case here.

Yeah that's true, but just because Infamous came out before Cuban Linx doesnt necessarily mean Eye For an Eye was recorded before Verbal Intercourse, they coulda did that back in 94 for all we know, but who knows

so i say the answer to the thread is "no"
